Another grape harvest has reached its end. The year 2007, generally, could be described as one of the earliest. The strict selection of the vineyards which has been practised by 'Katogi & Srofilia' for some years now, intervention in their loads when necessary, and the aid of the weather in the months of August and September have resulted in the grapes which have been harvested being in a first-class state of health and with a high degree of maturity. A tasting of the new wines shows us that 2007 is a great year, perhaps the best of the decade.
In greater detail, the following could be added:
A. WHITE WINES
The year 2007 was marked by a low load in the vineyards, which helped in the very good maturing of the grapes. The new wines have high alcoholic content and are strongly aromatic, while the company's insistence on mountain or semi-mountain vineyards has helped us to achieve very good acidities.
B. RED WINES
The red wines have a deep colour, are high in alcohol content, and concentrated. The load in the vineyards was down by up to 50%, and this in conjunction with the dry, hot summer which we had helped to produce the results described. It is certain that 2007 will give us some very great red wines which will keep us company for many years to come with the great potential for ageing which they possess.

Strofilia, white and red, a wine and a symbol of a whole era, is now on the market with a new face. Inspired by the ideals of the people who created it, who produce it and who have a vision for its future, the new label of Strofilia was designed by Artemis Kokkinaki and retains unchanged its distinctive symbols.
Strofilia white remains a combination of two indigenous varieties, Roditis and Savatiano, but the winemaking is carried out in such a way that it projects a more aromatic and a fresher character. With a cool acidity - a feature which distinguishes it from the first steps, which it took in 1984, and a balanced taste, Strofilia white is a consistent and favourite choice, as it goes so well with a host of different dishes.
Strofilia red has a differentiated composition in terms of varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, apart from Agiorgitiko. Thanks to its elegant, velvety character, it goes perfectly with meat and those dishes, which inspire a thirst for an easily digestible red wine.
