Regional Wine of Peloponnese

Serving Suggestions:
Excellent aperitif wine. It goes well with a huge variety of meats and dishes from Greek cuisine. As a serving suggestion it is recommended to try it slightly chilled
Characteristics:
Vivid red colour. Nose is dominated by the varietal aromas of Agiorgitiko such as red fruits whereas the palate is refreshing and smooth, with velvety tannins.
Vinification:
Desteming and crushing into stainless steel tanks are followed by and inoculation with several yeast strains. Temperature is controlled so that the fermentation never exceeds 26 degrees centigrade. The fermentation usually lasts 6-8 days and the skins are pressed at dryness. The young wine matures for two months in French hogsheads
