August White

Regional Wine of Peloponnese

Serving Suggestions:
An excellent aperitif wine. Goes well with seafood, fresh salads and pasta. It can be great companion to traditional Greek stews
Characteristics:
Light yellow colour with green tints. Citrus and herbaceous aromas, with notes of flowers, dominate the nose. The palate is characterized by freshness due to the acidity and a soft round texture, with long fresh finish.
Vinification:
After careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard and the winery, the grapes are whole bunch pressed and only the free run juice is collected. After settling and racking the juice ferments in low temperature to maintain the varietal aromas
Microclimate:
Cold and rainy winter, warm and dry summer
Other Characteristics:
Varieties: Roditis, Moschato (Muscat), Chardonnay
Region: Mamousia, at the high altitude plateau of Aigialia
Vintage: Roditis: Early October, Muscat & Chardonnay: late August
